200 Years Of US Immigration: National Geographic
This mesmerizing data video created by Pedro Cruz and John Wihbey visualizes the various eras of US immigration as rings in a growing tree trunk.
Bussed Out: The Guardian
The beautiful chart visuals are just part of this masterpiece that summarizes an 18-month investigation exploring the impact of the homeless moving around the US. Make sure you check out the full interactive story the Guardian put out here. It's an incredible example of great storytelling, data driven visuals, photography and real life video.... all in a nicely packaged interactive experience. An experience we researchers can really aspire to.
